Let’s take a look at the latest VIAINVEST updates and performance in July 2024.
Expanding security offerings from Latvian loan originator
We are expanding our flagship 13% annual interest offerings in Latvia, our largest loan originator. Securities backed by VIA SMS Latvia will now be available for 12 months at 13% and 6 months at 12%. Furthermore, the offer will be extended to securities with a 3-month maturity period and a 10% annual interest rate.
Renewal of the Base Prospectuses
The annual renewal of Base Prospectuses was completed in July, and new investments are now being published under the updated Base Prospectuses. These essential documents include updated financial data from VIA SMS Group’s loan originators and are available with investment details and in our Disclosure library. We observe strong growth in key operating countries and strengthening market positions.
Updated automated portfolio management strategies
After evaluating investment data, we have decided to adjust our Active and Diversified automated strategies. For the diversified strategy, the maximum investment in one security issuance is increased from 50 EUR to 100 EUR; for the active strategy, it is increased from 100 EUR to 500 EUR. Buyback obligation is now a mandatory requirement for Active Strategy investments. All other parameters remain unchanged. These changes will take effect starting from 5 August 2024.
New post in blog series – “Meet the team”
The latest release in our “Meet the Team” blog series features Didzis Šteinbergs, Head of IT. We look into the department’s day-to-day operations and the challenges the IT team face to upkeep the stability of our platform. A final release of the “Meet the team behind VIAINVEST” series is planned in the next few weeks.
