What is auto-invest?

Auto-invest permits you to set rules for the platform to be used as the basis for all automated future investments. After you have set your preferred rules (e.g. loan term, interest, investment amount, etc.) our system will automatically make investments in loan contracts matching your rule set once they become available on the primary loan market. Auto-invest settings can be easily changed or stopped at any time by accessing your investor profile. Auto-invest allows you to save time and make investment process more effective but does not exclude an opportunity to make manual investments in parallel. You can also diversify your investments by creating several auto-invest portfolios.

How to create an auto-invest portfolio?

To create an auto-invest portfolio you need to access your Investor Profile and navigate to section “Auto invest”. In this section, you are able to create an auto-invest portfolio by defining your investment rules that suit your risk threshold. The newly created auto-invest portfolio will appear in your profile's “Auto invest” section where you will be able to edit, activate/deactivate or delete it at any time.

Can I also invest manually if I have an auto-invest portfolio?

Yes, you are also able to make manual investments in parallel with an active auto-invest portfolio.

Can I cancel my auto-invest portfolio?

Yes, your auto-invest portfolio can be deactivated at any time. Don’t worry, your rules set will be saved on your “Investor Profile”. If existing auto-invest portfolio no longer meets your needs it can be easily deleted.

Why some funds are left uninvested?

There can be a number of reasons on why your auto invest profile is not working the way you want it to. Let’s start with some criteria to pay attention to when creating an auto invest portfolio:

1. Make sure your portfolio size has not been reached yet. If you have set your auto invest portfolio size to, for example, EUR 1000 and it has already invested and reinvested your funds reaching this amount, it automatically stops until the portfolio size is raised. If you would like to know the portfolio size your auto-invest has reached, please contact our investor support.

2. If your remaining loan term is not set to start from 0, you are losing a lot of investment opportunities here, because the majority of our loans are short-term, and with the remaining term less than 1 month.

3. Make sure your auto-invest profile is active. You can check the status of your auto-invest in your investor profile, section Invest > Auto Invest.

4. If your auto invest portfolio is set to invest in credit lines, make sure you increase your maximum investment in one loan amount as credit line loan amounts grow with each additional loan request from the borrower, and it opens for new investments again. Credit line is a specific type of loan which allows borrower to increase his initial loan amount. Once the borrower has received additional loan, particular credit line loan on the platform is being updated with respective amount and is open for investments again. However, if you have set low maximum investment in one loan amount and your auto invest has already invested full amount in this particular loan, it will not pick this loan again.

All other criteria you can set in your auto invest profile is purely up to you. The more freedom you will give to your auto invest, the more investment opportunities you will get.

However, there can still be cases when everything has been set right for your auto investing buddy, but it still has not cached any loans. This may happen as our auto invest algorithm was developed to serve as much investors as it can, so that every investor gets a fair chance of investment opportunities. If you see that there are available investments for your set criteria, but your auto-invest hasn’t made investments yet – be patient, it will start soon or take a chance to make some manual investments.

Are there any specific auto invest terms that apply to business loan?

Yes, there are. When setting up auto invest portfolio and including business loan, it is important to note that maximum investment in one loan, remaining loan term and Buyback Guarantee does not apply to business loan type.
