Why do I need to complete KYC?
At VIAINVEST we comply with the strictest regulations set for the brokerage companies in the EU to establish the legitimacy of a customer's identity and identify risk factors. Our procedures aid in the prevention of identity theft, money laundering, and other types of financial crimes, keeping our clients secure.
How is my data handled?
VIAINVEST guarantees non-disclosure and security of personal data by technical and organizational measures, ensuring physical and environmental security of personal data, restricting the right of access to client's personal data, transmitting client's personal data in encrypted form, ensuring the protection of computer network and personal devices, data backup and other protection measures, therefore ensuring client's personal data protection against illegal access, use or disclosure. VIAINVEST also implements systematic processes and procedures for securing and storing personal data and confidential information.
As part of VIAINVEST processing, VIAINVEST may share the client's data with recipients such as authorities on the basis of requests submitted in writing or VIAINVEST obligations imposed by the law, also to other recipients for VIAINVEST service provision. VIAINVEST will not disclose more of the client's personal data than is necessary for the purpose of disclosure and with respect to regulatory legislation.
All information the client provides to VIAINVEST is stored securely on VIAINVEST servers or servers of its partners, always in an encrypted form. In general, VIAINVEST keeps the client's data provided within the framework of the AML checks for at least 5 (five) years after termination of a business relationship or execution of an occasional transaction according to Article 37 (2) of the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing of Republic of Latvia. The personal data is retained for another 5 (five) years on the basis of the legal interests of VIAINVEST according to the ordinary limitation period of potential legal claims.

*Two component compensation model: interest of 8% p.a. on monthly basis plus interest paid at maturity of the agreement, providing investor with yield to maturity range from 8% to 12% p.a. Interest paid at maturity derives from project Capitalization Rate and Real Estate sales price as follows:

Capitalization rate indicates the expected rate of return an investor is likely to achieve on an investment property. The rate is calculated by dividing net annual operating income by the value of the property and multiplied by 100 to get the percentage.
